Pao Chong tea
Pao Chong tea is a lightly fermented tea with a particularly elegant aroma, with a scent of orchid osmanthus. The old Wenshan area is today's Pinglin, Nangang and Muzha in Taipei City, plus Xindian, Shenkeng and Shiding. These areas are also the main production areas of Baozhong tea, so it is called as "Wenshan Pao Chong tea". There is a saying in Taiwanese tea industry that "Pao Chong in the north and Dong Ding in the south" , and the north refers to Pinglin.
